Särkänniemi and Tykkimäki Amusement Parks will open again in June. Daily tickets are booked in advance and visitors are instructed on safety.

Särkänniemi Amusement Park will open on Saturday, 13th of June. Visitor capacity is limited so that the daily number of customers remains at 20 per cent of normal.

Before the opening of the amusement park, Särkänniemi will introduce an electronic reservation system, through which the daily ticket will be booked in advance.

“A reservation for an amusement park day must be made in advance online so that no one is left outside the gate when the restrictions apply,” says CEO Miikka Seppälä in a press release from Särkänniemi.

Tickets are basically sold in advance, but if there is daily capacity left, they can also be bought at the gate. Tickets can be obtained in advance from the Särkänniemi online store and bracelets can also be purchased at Citymarkets.

Tykkimäki opens its amusement park season on Wednesday 10.6. A limited number of customers are admitted to the amusement park area at one time.

The amusement park has several handwashing points and opportunities for hand disinfection. Adherence to safety distances in queues is possible thanks to the large amusement park area.

“In restaurants and cafes, we have added customer seats out and we recommend customers to enjoy meals outdoors if possible. At the amusement park, we remind customers of good hygiene with various signs and announcements,” says CEO Sakari Pasanen in Tykkimäki’s press release.
