Linnanmäki announced that it will open its gates on Friday, June 12, 2020.

On May 4, 2020, the Government outlined that regionally delimited outdoor spaces, such as Amusement Parks, could be open from June when safety is ensured through delimitation of customer numbers, safety distances and hygiene guidelines. Now Linnanmäki says in a press release that the amusement park will be opened on Friday 12 June 2020 at 11 am for a new amusement season.

“In addition to enthusiastic entertainers, about 600 of our seasonal employees are looking forward to the opening of Linnanmäki Amusement Park,” says Pia Adlivankin, CEO of the Children’s Day Foundation.

“Our amusement park has blossomed during the spring and last season’s new, amazing track equipment Taiga is waiting for dizzying heads again. Our new Taiga shooting service captures the awesome journey of Taiga as a picture or video that you can share even in your friends. This season, we will also launch two new guys to accompany the wonderfully lovely Rolle clown, who, like an amusement park, will guide you to safe amusement and entertain our customers in the park,” Adlivankin continues.

In the area of the amusement park, the number of people will be limited and, if necessary, the activities will be adjusted on the basis of instructions from the Government. During May, Linnanmäki will receive further information from the authorities on instructions related to restrictions, but Linnanmäki has already prepared for restrictions in advance.
